Solnet Group appoints Stijn Strijbosch as Country Manager Netherlands

Solnet Group appoints Stijn Strijbosch as Country Manager for the Netherlands. Stijn Strijbosch previously worked as Business Lead Rooftop Solar NL at Vattenfall. Solnet is a leading European smart solar supplier for corporate customers and has been listed as 60th fastest growing company in Europe by the Financial times in 2020. Stijn Strijbosch has been active within the energy market for 10 years, much of which in the renewable and solar energy. With this appointment, Solnet Group takes the next step in realising the company's growth ambitions in the Dutch market.

Solnet Group

Solnet Group was founded in Finland in 2014 and is expanding to several countries in Europe. Solnet Group focuses on the development, financing, construction and maintenance of solar utilities for corporate customers. Dutch branch

In 2018, the Dutch branch opened and has gained a strong market position with customers such as Hotel Okura Amsterdam, Sectie 5 Investment providing utilities for several Jumbo locations, Bouwmaat headquarters and Schavemaker Logistics to name a few. After a successful start, the appointment of Stijn Strijbosch as Country Manager is the beginning of the expansion of the team in the Netherlands to achieve the growth ambitions. He brings almost 10 years of experience within the energy and solar market. In his career at Vattenfall (formerly Nuon) he was responsible for the sale of large-scale solar utilities within the b2b market and closely involved in the start and growth of Powerpeers, a new renewable energy supplier.

The new Country Manager will start working for Solnet Group in Amsterdam on 1 April 2020.
