Solnet Group is actively investing in the advancement of solar parks and has initiated the establishment of a new business segment called Utility-Scale PV, aimed at expanding its presence in offsite solar projects.
Simo Hakkarainen has been appointed as the Head of Utility-Scale PV and a member of the management team to lead this strategic initiative. The role of the Head of Utility-Scale BA is to spearhead the implementation of groundbreaking offsite solar projects first in Finland but also the other market areas in Europe.
Simo Hakkarainen has a strong background in the international construction sector and project management. He has a long experience in business development and sales enabling international business for more than 30 countries. Hakkarainen joins Solnet Group from Peikko Group, an international growth company where he served as a Business Director and held various positions for nearly a decade.
