Solnet Group Appoints Arto Mustikkaniemi as Head of newly created Market Volatility Services

To support the expansion of this offering, the company has established a new Market Volatility Services unit, focused on accelerating sales of Solnet Manager and providing advanced battery and storage solutions to its clients.

Solnet Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Arto Mustikkaniemi as the Head of Market Volatility Services. In this new role, Mustikkaniemi will also join Solnet Group’s management team, bringing his wealth of experience in international sales, digital solutions, and software products to lead the company's efforts in balancing electricity markets.
The new business unit will be initially focused on the Finnish market, with plans to expand to other European markets in the near future. Mustikkaniemi’s leadership will be instrumental in driving this growth, leveraging his expertise to support Solnet’s vision of developing decentralized energy systems. Solnet Manager utilizes advanced IoT-enabled devices and neural networks to optimize grid balancing, contributing to a more resilient and future-proof energy system.
Mustikkaniemi’s extensive experience spans international roles in digital and software solutions, including leadership positions at Telia, Sanoma, and Fredman Group, where he was responsible for their software business arm. His background also includes serving as the Head of China Operations at Business Finland, demonstrating his ability to open new markets and drive business development in global settings.
A Vision for the Future
