Solnet Group stands proud among the pioneering organizations to enlist in the Solar Power Europe’s Solar Stewardship Initiative, championing transparency and sustainability across the supply chain.
We hold the sustainability of our offerings in high regard, alongside safety and quality. Hence, Solnet Group has embraced the Solar Stewardship Initiative (SSI), an unprecedented assurance scheme tailored to the solar photovoltaic (PV) industry and its stakeholders.
The SSI introduces rigorous SSI Standards, amalgamating global benchmarks, industry insights, and socio-political proficiency to furnish a bespoke sustainability framework for solar businesses. These standards serve as benchmarks for third-party auditors to assess adherence to robust sustainability and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles within companies operating within the solar value chain.
The SSI was started in March 2021 by SolarPower Europe and Solar Energy UK, as part of a workstream established in 2015 to promote sustainable production in the solar value chain.
